Take the Next Step Towards Legal Facilitation
The Synthesis Institute has officially been approved by Colorado’s Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) as a state-licensed training center for psychedelic facilitators.
As a Synthesis student, you are eligible to enroll directly in the 25+ hour Colorado Module, fulfilling the state-required didactic curriculum necessary to apply for a Training License — the first step in the licensure pathway under Colorado’s Natural Medicine Health Act (NMHA).
THIS MODULE INCLUDES:
- 25+ hours of self-paced coursework, covering Colorado-specific legal, ethical, and safety frameworks for legal facilitation
- Assignments and assessments to confirm readiness for licensure
- Digital access to coursework, allowing you to complete the module at your own pace
- Opportunity to earn a Didactic Training Certificate, as required for Colorado Licensure

CE Credits
Access CEs Through the Psychedelic Practitioner Core Training
For licensed mental health or healthcare professionals:
The Psychedelic Practitioner Core Training now offers the option to earn Continuing Education (CE) credits, recognized professional development hours required by many licensing boards for license renewal.
These credits offer formal recognition of the depth and clinical relevance of your training. They may be used to support licensure requirements, depending on your profession and state regulations.
The process of obtaining your CE credits is simple: you must complete the Psychedelic Practitioner Core Training and then successfully complete a quiz specific to the Continuing Education requirements. You will have multiple attempts to pass the quiz, so you can feel confident in meeting the requirements. The CE credit option will also remain available throughout your participation in the program, if you wish to add it later.
FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT CE CREDITS
- CE credits for psychologists are provided by the Spiritual Competency Academy (SCA) which is co-sponsoring this program. The Spiritual Competency Academy is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Spiritual Competency Academy maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
- The California Board of Behavioral Sciences accepts CE credits for LCSW, LPCC, LEP, and LMFT license renewal for programs offered by sponsors of CE who are approved by the American Psychological Association.
- LCSW, LPCC, LEP and LMFTs, and other professionals from outside of California need to check with their state licensing board as to whether or not they accept credits from programs offered by approved sponsors of CE by the American Psychological Association.
- SCA is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN Provider CEP16887) for licensed nurses in California. RNs must retain their certificate of attendance for 4 years after the course concludes. Nurses outside of California must confirm acceptance with their licensing boards.
